My Recent Note on the Be-Attitudes
I have been studying the Beatitudes in Matthew's gospel. It always amazes
me all the Lord condenses in that passage of scriptural readings. So concise
and so powerful. Giving us principles to live by in His Kingdom.
One of my favorite passages in the sermon is, " Ask, and it shall be given you; seek,
and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that
asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall
be opened " ( Matthew 7:7,8 )
Its amazing to me to see the desire of our Lord to give us answers to life's
questions, and to meet our needs as we show our heart's desire
to seek or to access His Presence. For He says, " it shall ", " shall find ",
" shall be ", " every one that ", " seeketh findeth ", " shall be ". All of these
phrases denote a positive response in return to someone's pursuit for the
Grace of God. Its just so in tune with the Father's will to give us the Kingdom
and provide all that is necessary for godliness and success in this life. Amen.

Going Through a Trial, Hold On
I've been in prayer and feel that there are those whom
are physically, emotionally and spiritually at the the
breaking point. A few weeks ago I was able to sing
with a wonder trio and background choir. The song was
" Through The Fire " it seemed to inspire folks so
much. We must of sang three encores of it.
That song has been made so popular by The Crabb Family, and
I'm putting that song on my blog today. For I feel led of God that
many could use its powerful words of encouragement, and The
Crabb Family sings it so very powerfully.
Be encouraged my friends, for the scripture says:
My Prayer for YOU!
Father God,
In your grace and mercy touch the hearts and minds of the weary.
Strengthen their resolve and help them to refocus on the God
who is able to deliver, to heal, to mend, to do anything but fail.
Let them be so encouraged by the Spirit of the Lord and be
lifted beyond what seems their destruction and placed by
a strong rock by your side. In Jesus Precious and Holy Name, Amen.
